Raw Food Recipe..Cole Slaw with Fruit & Fruit Dressing

Time for another Raw Food Recipe from The Natural Foods No-Cook Book by John H Tobe. This favorite of many Raw Food pioneers is out of print but worth the search. It contains recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 365 days of the year. It is interesting that when this book was published the temperature limit for "Raw Foods" was 140 degrees F. "Soups are mentioned with the warning don't heat over 140.


Cabbage, Pineapple,

Apples, Grapes,

Celery, Banana

Shred cabbage quite fine

Dice apples, Celery and Pineapple
Combine and add Grapes.

Dress with Fruit Salad Dressing
Serve on a cabbage leaf. Add sliced bananas on top just before serving.

Fruit Salad Dressing

3oz unpasteurized cream cheese 1/2 Tsp Honey
1/4 cup pineapple juice 1/cup whipped creme 1tsp lemon juice

Blend Cream Cheese with pineapple juice. Add honey. Fold in Whipped Cream and add lemon juice.
